China Qing Dynasty, approx. 210 x 127 cm, 18th century, strongly vibrant silk hanging made from 2 panels with recessed silk pile, with silk pattern wefts, some made of silver thread, creating a design of twining lotus flowers, dragons and fret motif, the borders are separated by stripes of gold embroidery, backed with linen, although two pieces of this type are offered in this auction, this is an extremely rare textile in a very good state of preservation.
