Southeast Caucasus, approx. 133 x 192 cm, circa 1900,these extremely rare pieces woven by Southeast Caucasian nomads technically count among the Vernehs, the blanket is made of one piece in linen weave of dark wool, the pattern is applied with additional wool wefts and partly in sumakh technique,several darned areas and damaged corners.
