Northwest Persia (Iran), approx. 124 x 60 cm, made 2nd half of the 19th century, binding: unidirectional Sumakh with intermediate weft, Abdal-Burun stripes form the central field pattern of this Sumakh Khordjin illustrated by Reinisch, except for smaller damages at the ends and a repair to the crosspiece, the bag is complete with original backing in a very good state of preservation, Shirazi partly repaired, all sides of the backing lined with fabric.
