brass, compass with silvered scale, blued steel needle and alidade, revolving on a square brass plate with 360-dregree scale and engraved European wind names, the half circle protractor engraved “+P / S. M / O. T / L. G” with two scales. The square brass plate with (broken) mounting adjustment. All fitted in sharkskin covered case. Size c. 8 x 17 x 19 cm. (WU).
