Archduchess Alice of Tuscany (1849-1935), born Princess of Bourbon-Parma. Inscribed verso: "Her Royal and Imperial Highness the illustrious Princess Alixe of Parma, then Archduchess of Tuscany ecc. Born in Parma on 27th December 1849. At the age of 3. Copied in Oktober 1881 after a painting in Schloss Wartegg by Prof. Georg Decker". Georg Decker was commissioned by Grand Duke Ferdinand IV to paint an entire portrait series of the Archducal Tuscan family. The whole series was exhibited in the Salzburg Künstlerhaus. Provenance: House of Hapsburg.
