Livio Mehus (Oudenarde 1627 - 1691 Florence)
Two southern landscapes, one depicting the mills of San Nicolò on the Arno, oil on canvas, each 59 x 88 cm, framed, (2), (Wo)
Both paintings depict Tuscan views and have been identified by Prof. Giancarlo Sestieri as works by Mehus. They may have been designs for one of the Medici villas. One senses in them the influence of Salvator Rosa.
