Northeast Persia (Iran), approx. 176 x 90 cm, circa 1880, three Salor guls with small cartouches with primitive S-motifs in between, surrounded by white-ground "holy places" (according to Walter J. Powischer), noteworthy is the extremely rare primary border ornament, good pile condition - apart from the heavily corroded brown, upper kilim end no longer preserved, slight edge damages. (MA)
