Descriptionsigned on back of compass “Beyser”, gilt and silvered brass, folding plummet, hour scale, and latitude arc, original embossed leather case and handwritten description and table of latitudes, signed by Beyser. Size c. 53 x 55 mm. A similar Sundial can be found in the Museum of the History of Science, Inventory number 45407 (from the Billmeir collection).
