DescriptionPhoto portrait of the monarch with inscription in his hand, the old Kaiser standing in Field Marshal’s uniform with medals, silver print in boudoir format, in fine frame, the frame gilt-brass and partially enamelled, profiled columns, in the corner the monogram "FJ" and the coats of arms of Hapsburg-Lothringia arranged in the corners, surmounted by the Austrian Imperial Corona, this silver-gilt and enamelled, 31 x 18,4 cm, in original case lined with silk and stamped by the firm Gebr. Rodeck purveyor to the Royal and Imperial Court, Vienna, c. 1895, (Lu)
The Imperial presentation portraits represented great favour both to those in the Kaiser’s circle and other high-ranking individuals.
