Northeast Anatolia (Turkey), approx.168 x 145 cm, dated 1805, very early prayer Kilim with green-ground mihrab flanked by wide borders, highly abstract animal motifs in the upper yellow main border, primitive trees of life and the old colours are informative that the dating is consistent with the age of the piece, plaited warp threads and side edges original, some age-related repairs, a larger repair area in the left prayer field.
