16th Cent., depicted standing, atop a grass base, the head with long flowing hair and inclined towards the Christ Child seated on her left hand, the Child with very curly locks, its right hand raised in blessing, the left hand holding a golden orb with cross, the Virgin wearing a belted dress with decorated neckline and sleeves, covered by a cloak arranged into handsome folds and draping down to the base, limewood, the reverse hollowed out, polychromed and gilt, Height: 85 cm, some losses to the old paint and refreshed for restoration purposes, 1 finger of the Virgin lost, Franconia circa 1580 - 90, (Er)
