chipboard, Formica, walnut veneer, blackened moulded tubular metal, height 80 cm, width 110 cm, depth 51 cm. (DR) Custom-made in the early 1950s for the Josefinenhütte in Vienna, a popular excursionists’ haunt renovated according to plans by Carl Auböcks. Provenance: Restaurant Josefinenhütte, Höhenstraße, 1190 Vienna (until 2006).
