Peter Behrens (Hamburg 1868-1940 Berlin), A handled vase,
designed in 1903, manufactured by the Reinhold Hanke stoneware and pottery factory, Höhr, glazed stoneware, decorated with a raised grey and blue geometric pattern, a minor blemish to the stand and a firing crack to the base of the handle, the underside with impressed artist’s monogram and model no. 2102, H 26.5 cm, (B).
