Candidus pinxit in the plate, 15.4 x 11.4 cm, lightly fixed to support, stained and foxing, mounted and framed, Bartsch/Strauss .051, (Sch) The Madonna’s head was inspired by a drawing of Peter Candid, which is preserved in the Staatliche Graphischen Sammlung Munich (Inv. 29872) today.
