Poller, Anton (Vienna 20th Cent.)
A very fine Viennese violin of quality, dated 1925, bearing a second label with: “Diese Geige war die letzte Arbeit meines verst. Mannes, selbe wurde für Pr. Hämerich(?) Christian gemacht. Relly Poller” (This violin was the last made by my late husband, it was made for Pr. Hämerich(?) Christian, Relly Poller). The one-piece back of broad flame descending to the right, ribs and scroll of similar figure, table of medium grain, the varnish of an orange reddish colour, L.O.B.: 35,7 cm, in very good condition, with case.
