Storioni, Lorenzo (Cremona, Turin 1751-1802)
A very fine and important viola from Cremona, ca. 1777(?). bearing the label: „Laurentius Storioni fecit. Cremonae 1777(?)“. The two-piece oppio back of narrow flame, ribs and scroll of similar figure, the two-piece table of broad irregular grain, the original varnish of a golden yellow colour, all elements matching, L.O.B.: 40,8 cm.
