Both Austrian and international works including, amongst others, those by Julius von Blaas, Jean Capeinick, Rafael Contell, Ludwig Deutsch, Adrianus Eversen, Ludwig Hans Fischer, Olga Wisinger-Florian, Friedrich Gauermann, Josef Gisela, Johann Hamza, Theodor von Hörmann, Friedrich August Kaulbach, Alexander Koester and Karl Spitzweg, are offered in the “19<sup>th</sup> century painting” auctions at Vienna’s Dorotheum. Ferdinand Georg Waldmüllers’ „The halted pilgrimage (the assistance)“ achieved a sensational price of 1.32 million euros during the “Oil paintings of the 19<sup>th</sup> century” auction on 30<sup>th</sup> November 2005 in the Dorotheum in Vienna. In 2006 Adrien Moreau’s “Gypsy dancer” achieved a world record price of 264,000 euros to a bidder in our auction hall.
