The auction of musical instruments at the Dorotheum in Vienna offers a unique selection of fine instruments from throughout Europe. The wide range covers fine violins, cellos, violas through to clarinets, saxophones, double horns and flugel horns through to violin zithers, lutes or traverse flutes, A particular success was a very beautiful fine violin from Turin by Annibale Fagnola, dated 1922, which sold for 48,000 euros, as well as an Italian Luigi Bajoni cello from Milan, circa 1850, which went for 60,000 euros.
