Stamps
The Dorotheum’s Department of Philately can look back over a tradition of around 100 years and during that time it has overseen the auctioning of a wide selection of classical and modern stamps from Europe and abroad. Valuable single issues and complete sets, interesting cancellations, franking marks, airmail and zeppelin post are all represented as are rare forgeries and historical postcards. Stamps can not only be acquired at the regular auctions held at the Dorotheum in Vienna but also by means of direct sale at fixed prices.
