There are no extra charges for placing an absentee bid via the internet for Dorotheum dailyauctions. If you have acquired an item, you will pay the same as you would at any auction run by the Dorotheum, that is, your final bid plus applicable buyer’s premium.
Please read the Dorotheum’s schedule of charges for auctions for further information.
Each bid is subject to the Dorotheum GmbH & Co KG’s Procedural regulations and charges for the auction house. Bids or absentee bids placed represent net prices. That means, that where an item has been knocked down, the successful bidder must pay, in addition to the final bid, the Dorotheum buyer’s premium and, where applicable, taxes due (you will find information about the applicable rate of tax on the detailed view page for each individual item on the internet).
Bids or absentee bids placed represent net prices. The buyer’s premium and VAT are not included in an absentee bid placed via the internet. Charges will be added to your final bid after the auction.
(You will find information about applicable rates of tax on the detailed view for your items on the internet.)
