The magnificent facilities in the Palazzo Colonna, one of Rome's most beautiful palaces, offer a perfect ambience for temporary exhibitions, be it a best-of-selection of the Vienna Dorotheum’s international Old Masters sale, outstanding items from such departments as silver, Art Nouveau, furniture, and contemporary art, or cool examples from the design sale, which is particularly popular in Italy.

Focus of the comprehensive service offered by the Dorotheum’s Rome branch is on competent advice on the buying and selling of high-value works of art (consultation days). Dorotheum experts will assess works of art and collectibles in regard to their suitability as consignments for auction.
