DescriptionWest Turkestan, approx. 240 x 167 cm, circa 1800, symmetrical knot slightly layered, H 35, V 55 = approx. 1,925 kts/sqm; an early Chaly with Dyrnak gul pattern in a horizontal arrangement and characteristic white main border of Turkmenistan wave pattern with rolled leaf, remarkable elems with tree shapes, low pile and heavily damaged in parts, some guls have some silk parts, sides with attached cord - partly damaged, both woven ends complete, kilim ends no longer preserved.
