You can give us a written absentee bid up until 24 hours before an auction begins if you cannot take part in the auction personally. The forms for this can be found in the catalogues and the salerooms or can be obtained at the Information Desk or from Client Advisory Service. Please indicate the maximum limit up to which you would like to bid. We guarantee that we will also knock down the item to you below your limit, provided no higher bids have been made. We would also be glad to inform you about the possibility of bidding by telephone.
Please note that in addition to the final bid (=hammer price) the buyer’s premium, the VAT in force and, where appropriate, a right of resale fee (where marked with an asterix* in the catalogue) will be charged.
Naturally we would be happy to personally advise you about the steps to be taken after the auction, from collecting your item to organising shipment.
