DescriptionA presentation pocket watch of Robert and Lilly Stolz, gold 585, gold-plated lever movement, numbered 2587395, calibre 301, gold-coloured dial, Arabic numerals, small second, inside back inscribed: "unserem lieben Viktor Weihnachten 1930, Lilly u. Rober Stolz", stripe guilloché casing, Ø ca. 36 mm, 57,1 g, some stains and scuffed, mainspring torn, maintenance service required. Known as the 'Emperor of Operetta', Robert Stolz composed not only several operettas but the score for more than 50 films, including the first European musical movie "Zwei Herzen im 3/4-Takt". Other well-know songs include: Im Prater blühen wieder die Bäume, Salome, Adieu mein small Gardeoffizier. Viktor Haberl, from ca.1929-1934 the driver of Robert Stolz, was given this pocket watch for Christmas 1930
