If you personally take part in an auction, after the final bid, you can pay the amount due directly at the Auction Counter and collect your auction purchase. Please note that in addition to the final bid (=hammer price), the buyer’s premium, VAT in force and, where appropriate, a right of resale fee (where marked with an asterix* in the catalogue) will be charged.
If you have submitted a written absentee bid, you can call our Client Advisory Service the following weekday at +43-1-515 60-200 to inquire whether your written absentee bid was successful or not. You can also call up results from catalogued auctions on our website at www.dorotheum.com. After paying the sum in full at our Pay Desk located in the mezzanine, you will receive a receipt and the handover ticket with which you can collect your auction purchase from the Dispatch Room opposite. We gladly accept cash or bank cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by credit card, but you are also welcome to pay by money transfer.
