(DR) Constructed of three flexible aluminium bands of the same length. Designed by Ron Arad in 1986/87; in 1987/88 a series of prototypes was made before Vitra launched the edition proper in 1988, which remained in the company’s programme until 1993. However, the demand for this model was relatively low. Provenance: purchased in Ron Arad’s studio in London c. 1997 - private ownership, Switzerland. Lit.: L. King, Ron Arad, 1999, pp. 46/47 - D.
