17th Cent., depicted standing atop a crescent moon, her left leg placed slightly forward, her right hand holding the Christ Child, the left hand bent to hold a sceptre (lacking), wearing a blouse and a belted floor-length gown arranged over the crescent moon in voluminous folds, her cloak hanging from her shoulder and draped in front of the body in creased shallow folds, with crown, limewood, carved in the round, polychromed, Height: 107 cm, both heads and crown, and the right arm of the Christ Child expertly replaced at a later date, some losses to the paint and refreshed for restoration purposes, handsome Renaissance sculpture by a Bavarian sculptor circa 1620, (Er)
