A Settee, designed by Franz West in 1992,
manufactured by Atelier Franz West, the upholstery and covering by Gilbert Bretterbauer, partially greyish blue lacquered construction steel, the futon and armrests covered with burlap and black fabric, two cushions added and covered with kelim, height 104 cm, width 246 cm, depth 83 cm, height of seat 48 cm, cushions: 51 x 51 cm. (DR) This settee formed part of an installation of nine examples (eight white ones and a black one) at the show “Antik Aktuell” at the Vienna Hofburg in 1992 and numbers among the first models among Franz West’s production of settees.This bank was exhibited in: Wiener Aktionismus, MUMOK,Vienna 2006.
