Three room partitions, Carl Auböck, Vienna, early
1950s, black lacquered tubular metal, woven rattan, each with a cast brass clothes hook, two parts: height 280 cm, canework section 95 x 130 cm, one part: height 160 cm, canework section 95 x 83 cm. (DR) Custom-made in the early 1950s for the Josefinenhütte in Vienna, a popular excursionists’ haunt renovated according to plans by Carl Auböcks. Provenance: Restaurant Josefinenhütte, Höhenstraße, 1190 Vienna (until 2006).
