A very fine Italian violin of quality, Ferrara, circa 1800. The two-piece back of very narrow horizontal flame, ribs and scroll of similar figure, one-piece table, the varnish of a light brown colour on a golden coloured ground, L.O.B.: 36,2 cm, with 2 bows and case. (MB)
