Following on from Dorotheum's extremely successful collection auctions in the recent past, this time we are presenting selected pieces from the collection of antiques collector Juergen Meisinger.
Having grown up in Dresden, Juergen Meisinger first lived in Sweden, where he discovered his passion for antiques and subsequently also ran a dealership.
In addition to his trading activities, Juergen Meisinger was above all a passionate collector of exquisite antique furniture. Antiques shaped his life.
After working in Hamburg and the USA, he later moved back to Dresden and from there to Carinthia.
He spent the last few years living in Feld am See at the “Theresienhof”.
For reasons of age, he is now parting with his extensive collection of European furniture, mirrors, clocks etc., mainly from the 18th century, giving other people the opportunity to follow his enthusiasm.
We are very pleased to be able to offer this collection, which has been built up with connoisseurship and extraordinary passion and has always been well cared for.
