Italian Baroque chest of drawers,
Lombardy 18th century. A fully serpentine chest of drawers with bombé shaping, made in walnut and poplar, with burl walnut veneer and mahogany and maple marquetry bands, with one small and two large drawers, the top mostly later veneered in cherry. Ca. 89.5 x 144 x 61.5 cm. Some wood parts replaced, and with some ageing and wear. (DOC)
