modified Louis XV style of the late 19th century, burlwood veneered hardwood frame on filigree curved legs, hinged top with partly dyed marquetry of bird motifs and bronze border, the inside of the cover with inlaid mirror panel and detachable wood insert, the lock engraved with “Breul & Rosenberg Wien”, c. 71.5 x 36 x 27 cm, ornamented with bronze mounts, the frieze with grey patina, the top with some cracks.
