(Known as “bois de citronnier” or East Indian satinwood), Neo-Classical revival, Paris, end of the 19th/early 20th century, with maker’s or distributor’s label in the top drawer "L'AMEUBLEMENT EBENISTERIE, TAPISSERIE 98 RUE DE CHARONNE 98", PARIS. Made in solid and veneered wood, with fluted rounded angles, good bronze doré mounts, 3 drawers with the lower two being sans traverse. Ca. 89 x 115 x 53 cm. In cared-for condition, with a fine patina. (PZ)
