Salon chest of drawers,
Transition period circa 1770, France, probably Lorraine. Made in various hardwoods and softwoods with rosewood cube marquetry and panels framed in zebrawood. The chest has five drawers, of which the lower two are "sans traverse", and has chased gilt bronze mounts and a moulded marble top. 89 x 125 x 60 cm. Professionally restored and polished condition.
