Designed in 1906, executed by K. K. Kunsterzgiesserei Wien, patinated bronze, copper pot, inscribed in the base, dated and with founder’s mark and model no. 154, height 26.5 cm, including matching copper pot, height 5.5 cm, (B).
Today, the artist Eduard Klablena is know almost exclusively for his ceramics. It is little known that he began his training in the school for metalworkers, braziers and chisellers in Vienna. His bronzes are very hard to come by in the art market.
