Two “GA” stacking chairs,
designed by Hans Bellmann, c. 1955, executed by HorgenGlarus Switzerland, for Wohnbedarf AG Zurich. Four-legged, dark varnished metal frame, with seat shell in laminated wood. Height c. 83 cm, width c. 41 cm, depth c. 46 cm, height of seat c. 46 cm. The present design was the recipient of the 1955 “Gute Form” Prize of the Schweizerischer Werkbund.
