In the 70s, vehicles suddenly took on an unusual appearance, rolling on big wheels and somehow reminiscent of Volkswagen cars that played the supporting role in many a movie – whether it was next to Steve McQueen or Faye Dunaway or Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. So began the Buggy hype, which also flourished in Austria, and which is why suppliers such as Ledl or Tomaszo brought their altered vehicles on the market. Initially laughed at, today the Buggies have their place in the history of the VW Beetle!

The basis for this Tomaszo Buggy L was a Volkswagen 1302 50 PS from 1972. Remodelling was carried out in 1992 and its first owner since its rebirth gave the Tomaszo to his wife as a wedding gift. In 1999, the Buggy changed ownership – at that point it had already been repainted from black to red with white stripes. It also still has the roof and is practically unused, and the Buggy overall gives a more than impeccable impression. Allowing such a conversion to be done today would have been quite impossible due to the wide tires and the sonorous exhaust system. For this model, you only need to step in and enjoy the summer! You can’t ask for more a more outdoorsy feeling when driving!
