Museum quality Pinzgau rustic cabinet,
Kitzbühl area, last quarter of the 18th century. A solid Swiss pine cabinet with loose cornice and plinth, the front divided with pilasters and panels, as well as superbly carved applications of acanthus leaves and rocaille. The cabinet is monogrammed and dated "LV 1778", and has two plinth drawers, two doors with original lock and key, three interior drawers, and a pierced cresting atop. 241 x 169 x 71 cm. Mostly original condition, with evidence of minor restoration and replacements, and with small losses. (PZ)
