Splendid four-poster bed,
In the High Baroque style, made to a very high standard in the 2nd half of the 19th century. In various hardwoods and softwoods, with outstanding carving, a brown painted finish, also painted with armorial cartouches, the dove of the Holy Ghost and the Monogram of Christ, with a later dating of "1678"?. The front and top of the back are decorated with applied angel heads, with a canopy supported by twist turned columns. Ca. 212 x 220 x 135 cm. Some ageing, with small losses, and with a fine patina.
