East Turkestan, c. 215 x 125 cm, second half of the 19th century, coffer gul pattern in diagonal chromatically alternating design on rare red background, the rosettes framed by meandering motifs contain a blue ornament that also appears outside in the intersecting lines of the coffers, the main border with eight-leaf rosettes in different colours, an angular floral tendril in the narrow, yellow secondary border, both ends with kilim ends, partly low pile around the centre of the carpet, otherwise good condition.
