1: A pair of Indian leather shoes, richly embroidered with volutes, circles and bands of silver threads. L: each 27 cm. 19th century.
2: An Indo-Persian fabric with fine embroidery of silk and silver threads (with ‘silk core’) on silk background. The borders are decorated with geometric bands, the three central fields with motifs of lush floral and leafy tendrils.
A small area of age-related damage (hole). Dimensions: 69 cm x 41 cm. About 1800.
