West Anatolia (Turkey), c. 390 x 341 cm, about 1890, the present carpet was produced in coarse knotting in the small manufactories of Isparta and Kayseri around of the turn of the century, in Ushak style with wool foundation and acceptable pile, slight signs of wear due to age, some large repairs of different colour all around the medallion, both ends original, side edges rebound, cleaned.
