Made in the Louis XVI style, mid 19th century. An oak table veneered with tulipwood and rosewood, with marquetry wave band and a pictorial motif of books on a table rendered in various woods, some exotic, with one drawer with fitted interior, a top which slides back, fine bronze doré mounts and 1 key. 72.5 x 46 x 32 cm. In fine, restored condition. Footnote: the clear models for this piece are the works by Charles Topino, who designed a number of similar tables. (MIN)
