Museum quality Tyrolean coffer, of the Sockeltruhe type, rarely encountered in this condition,
Brandenberg last quarter of the 17th century. A pine coffer, painted with flowers, also decorated with carved pilasters and fretwork, dated 1685, the original plinth with two drawers, lateral iron handles, the original lock with key, as well as an interior drawer with secret compartment. 94 x 173 x 70 cm. In fine authentic condition with small repairs, parts of the interior fittings and one drawer base missing. (PZ)
