A water sprinkler with a spout in the form of a phoenix’s head
China, Ming dynasty, 16th century. Cast in the shape of a Buddhistic kundika with a recessed foot, and a long, narrow neck, ornamented with a double serrated ring and an undulating band. The spout in the shape of the head of a phoenix. Slight damage repaired. Height: 19.5 cm. (BA)
