In a recessed, central panel framed by a band of tendrils and another with lotus leaves and beads, and ornamented with the eight Buddhist auspicious symbols, seated on lion thrones with magnificent torana to the centre, Prajnaparamita, the female Bodhisattva Supreme Wisdom, to her right, Buddha Shakyamuni and to her left, Bodhisattva Maitreya. A kirtimukha to obverse. Traces of gilding. Damaged. 28.5 x 76 cm. (BA)
