"Ver Sacrum", the most important publication of the early Vienna Secession, appeared from 1898 until 1903. As the official organ of the Vereinigung bildender Künstler Österreichs (Association of Fine Artists of Austria) it served to propagate modern art with extensive information, illustrations and book decorations.
