collector’s mark Ludwig Zatzka (Lugt 2672).
A comparable drawing with the same composition of the artist is kept in the Albertina (Inv.-Nr. 24700). The Universal Museum Joanneum in Graz owns a painting (Inv.-Nr. 724) which is slightly altered from the drawing and is dated 1786. The present drawing may have been executed around 1786.
