heavy brass plate movement, spring driven via chain and fusee, verge escapement, the reverse side with short pendulum, power reserve: 8 days, 1/4 hour repeater striking mechanism on chimes, square matt gilt brass dial, engraved silvered dial ring, silvered angel head spandrel, engraved gilt hour hand, blued steel minute hand, two-door walnut- and oak wood clock case with root wood veneer, four glass panels, sound apertures with silvered bronze inlay, bronze ornaments on the facing side, clock case top of later date with bronze carrying bow, squat ball feet of wood, 39 cm, probably England ca. 1700, in working condition, traces of wear and tear, the precision of the movement and long-term functioning cannot be guaranteed, 1 key, (HP)
